Home-made pickles like hot curried chillis and mixed veg pickle have become a norm on our counters and adds to the authentic “Durban-Style” food experience. Over the years, customers have requested other needs namely: to stock Indian spice blends (condiments and masalas), thavas, stainless steel pots and pans, deksha (fire pots), masala dabbas and they are all in stock.

Perfected chillie bites, home produced lamb, chicken and corn samoosas are plentifully stocked; new ranges of frozen foods have also be added from paths, soya prawns, purs, sausages, paneer and a host of vegetarian frozen items. Special requests for specialty foods like veddas, dhal-roti, itli’s are also entertained. Please drop us an advance message for these requests

The take-away, due to its size, focus on its “food-to-go-service” but has a small sit-down seating area and the shop is personally managed by Durban born husband and wife team: Darsh and Nitasha. Fine and quality ingredients are used and exception high standards are maintained as if the foods are prepared in family kitchen
